BC, 15 year old boy
A 15 year old adolescent boy diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger’s. He was hyperactive, impulsive, very distractible, very anxious, inconsistent and prone to meltdowns. After 40 sessions of iLS in-clinic Sound Therapy Program, B’s mother made the following observations:
“Before beginning the iLS Sound Therapy program, B had difficulty with listening and following instructions. He could not lower his voice, and his hand writing was very untidy. He was very clumsy.
During the course of iLS Sound Therapy I noticed that within 1 week his hand writing improved dramatically. He had times of extreme exhaustion, leading to meltdowns. He started slowing down in some activities i.e. writing and answering written questions.
After the completion of 40 sessions of therapy I have noticed that Ben sits for longer periods of time without needing to get up and be active.
His hand writing has improved overall. At times he is able to lower his voice, often when prompted.
I feel that he is a calmer person in general. He has handled the end of year changes at school much better than last year.
He is now aware of being overwhelmed and tells me when things seem crazy to him.”
